From the Blue Mountains Australia, Rupture In The System (R.I.T.S.) are a alternative Aussie hip hop duo. KauTioN and MaLPHunKTioN both 15 and attend Winmalee High School
They thought of the name while on detention at school, and then decided to start a hip hop group. There's been some story behind Rupture even though they've only been together for a short while. They've had possible extra emcee’s and broke up for a long while as MaLPHunKTioN had personal things to deal with, KauTioN continued to emcee alone playing at 'Get Up' at The Springwood Civic Centre and the Glenbrook Skate Comp. But MaLPHunKTioN is back and R.I.T.S. has come together again.
Since getting back together for around 3months they have propelled quickly releasing two CD’s: Guess Who EP and The Hackin’ Mixtape. They are also featuring on some mix tapes & demo tapes all around Australia with various artists. They have also gotten radio play on 99.7FM on AJ’s IN THE MIX radio program from 4pm – 6pm Saturdays. MaLPHunKTioN has also recently done a few collaboration tracks with artists from Australia and America. Both members are now working on multiple collaboration tracks and R.I.T.S. songs are also in the process of been recorded.
